Cupcake Monday

Hey Ladies . . . everyone all ready for Christmas? not me and frankly I am getting a little tired of all this Christmas prep so when I was asked to come up with a challenge for this week I thought we could all use a break from the old Christmas theme. And with that in mind I chose the challenge of:

Creating a 5x5 Birthday card! I love making 5x5 cards, they are my favorite and prefered size of card to make. Here is my take . . .

I used the Imaginisce Sweet Cheri collection to make this card.

Thanks for popping in and I can't wait to see your 5x5 Birthday Card! If you have not entered in the draw for a necklace charm please do so in the post below as I will be drawing for that very soon!

A fun new craft!

For the longest time now I have been wanting to make jewelry but I so desperately desired something that would reflect my huge love of paper. After loads of surfing I came across glass tile pendants and I was instantly in LOVE. I immediately found someone selling a starter kit and couldn't wait to try this. Check out how beautiful these things are:

I made this pendant using some pattern paper from the Imaginisce Polar Express Line and I absolutely love how it turned out!!! I loved it so much that I couldn't resist making a cute little package to match. After much fiddling I came up with this sturdy Matchbox to hold the pendant.

What do you think?
Wanna make one? . . . Check out the Imaginisce blog for my tutorial.
Wanna Win One? . . . Leave me a comment and I will draw for a custom made matchbox with Pendant in some super yummy Sweet Cheri Imaginisce papers.
Thanks for popping by today!

CPS Card

I have been getting alot of requests from family and friends for Winter/Christmas cards so any chance I get I have been working to build up my supply. Today I had some spare time so I looked through this weeks challenges and settled on doing this week's CPS sketch.

I really liked this weeks sketch and of course I couldn't resist using the Imaginisce Polar Express line to pull it all together. Here is my take on the sketch.

I used my cricut to make the snowflake!

Now . . . I have been having such a great time playing with all these fabulous Imaginisce Products in particular the Polar Express Line. I am soooo thankful to have recieved the opportunity to work with Imaginisce and I would like to share my fortune! Here is a little Polar Express Blog Candy! Leave me a comment and you will be entered for a chance to win! (I will draw a winner on Sunday) I have included a little bit of everything from the line in this goody bag.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hop on the Polar Express

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas! and not just in my scrappy area. Yesterday we had a little Alberta Clipper come through and we now have lots and lots of snow. Normally this would not appeal to me but it is really helping to step up the Christmas spirit! The kids are really looking forward to playing in the snow today so I think that will be on our agenda right after breakfast.
Now for some scrappy stuff . . . The Imaginisce DT members have been creating a whirl wind over the past week with the fabulous Polar Expression Line. This line is absolutely the cutest Christmas/winter line ever! Imaginisce definitely came through to provide another incredible line and when these goodies arrived in my mail box I couldn't wait to get creating.

Here is a fun Recipe Book I came up with (the book itself is something I picked up in a clearence bin at Target):

I cannot believe it is December already . . . seems like the days are just flying by and I still have so much to get done before the holidays. Baking, Shopping, Wrapping and crafting of course. I usually make loads of handmade goodies and gift baskets.
The beginning of a new month also means a new fabulous Created with Paper monthly kit. This months collection is Bo Bunny's Kitchen Spice and this kit rocks! It comes with absolutely everything you need to create an awesome recipe book that would make a great Christmas gift for someone, and much more!
I will be sharing my recipe book later in the week but today I would like to share a card I made using this versitile kit.

Thanks for popping by today! Be sure to pop in tomorrow when I share another Imaginisce Polar Express Project.
